White-label programme

White label web development that ships under your agency's name

You design the pitch, own the client and present the site; our team in India builds it. Every build is fixed-quoted from a published wholesale rate, ships weekly to a staging link you can forward as your own, and is handed over with the code, hosting and analytics in your client's name. We sign non-circumvention before we hear who the client is.

In one paragraph

White label web development from The Tech Genius is website and ecommerce build work delivered under a marketing or design agency's own brand — the agency keeps the client, the calls and the invoice, and we build on Next.js or Shopify from India. It suits agencies in the US, the UK, Australia and Canada that want a fixed quote from a published wholesale rate card, weekly builds on a staging link, and a non-circumvention agreement signed before any client is named. Against typical Western agency build pricing, the wholesale rate leaves the agency a margin in the 55–65% range.

Who this is for

  • Design and branding studios that sell the site and would rather not carry developers on payroll between projects
  • Marketing and search agencies whose clients ask for a rebuild, a landing page or a store the agency cannot build in-house
  • A web design agency with more signed work than build capacity, and a pipeline too uneven to hire against
  • Agencies comparing an offshore web development company on price alone, who want the terms — NDA, fixed quote, handover — in writing as well
  • Freelancers and small studios who need to hire web developer capacity by the project rather than by the month

Design, or build to yoursWe can design from a brief in your visual system, or take your Figma files and build them exactly. Either way, the mockups carry your logo.
Next.js or Shopify buildServer-rendered custom sites on Next.js, or Shopify themes and storefronts, chosen on what the job needs rather than on what we would rather sell.
Core Web Vitals passed before handoverOptimised images, minimal JavaScript and real HTML that search engines and AI crawlers can read. Speed is a delivery condition, not an upsell.
A CMS your client can runEditable text and images, with documentation and a walkthrough recording written in your agency's voice.
Staging under your domainWeekly builds on a staging link. If you want it on a subdomain of your agency's own site, we set that up so nothing in the URL points at us.
Handover in the client's nameCode repository, hosting account, domain and analytics registered to your client from the first day, so they are free to take them anywhere — including to you.
Accessible and mobile-firstKeyboard navigation, sensible contrast and reduced-motion support, designed on the phone first because that is where the traffic is.
Optional support retainerAn agreed support window after launch, then a monthly retainer if you want one, billed to you and resold however you like.

The margin, worked out

Wholesale rates, against what agencies typically charge

Our price is what you pay us. The resale column is observed agency pricing in the US, UK and Australia, not a promise about your market — the margin is arithmetic on published numbers.

How it works

From first brief to your invoice

  1. Step 1

    NDA and non-circumvention first

Signed before a client name, a domain or a brand guideline reaches us. Your relationship is protected before the brief exists.

  2. Step 2

You send scope, brand and deadline

Sitemap, design files or references, platform preference, integrations and the launch date your client has in mind.

  3. Step 3

Fixed price and date within two working days

Quoted from the wholesale rate card with the scope written out, so what you tell your client holds and our estimation mistakes stay ours.

  4. Step 4

    Weekly builds under your brand

A staging link that updates every week plus a written progress note you can forward unedited. You are always the first to know where your own project stands.

  5. Step 5

    Handover, then two invoices

Unbranded files and documentation in your voice go to the client through you. You invoice at your rate; we invoice you at wholesale, in USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, AED or INR.

Why agencies can trust it

What you can check before you send a client name

  • The GSTIN is on the site

We are a GST-registered Indian company and publish the registration number, so an agency's finance team can verify us before a purchase order is raised.

  • Prices printed on every page

Our retail prices as a website development company are published on every service page, and the wholesale card on every partner page. A vendor hiding its rates cannot be planned against; ours can.

  • Our own stores run on this stack

Tech Depot India and Attardaan India are our own Shopify businesses, and Relaywave and Roomline our own products, so the builds we sell are builds we live with.

  • The handover is real

Repositories, hosting and analytics sit in the client's name from day one. If the relationship with us ends, nothing your client depends on ends with it.

White-label web development — questions agencies ask

How is the reporting white-labelled on a build?

You receive a weekly written update and a staging link, both without our name on them, so you can forward them to your client as your own progress report. Design reviews and the final documentation are written in the first person as your agency. If you want staging on your own subdomain, we set that up at the start.

Who owns the client — and the code?

The client is yours under a non-circumvention agreement signed before we know their name. The code, hosting, domain and analytics are theirs, registered in their name at handover. We hold nothing that either of you would need to come back to us for.

What if my client works out the build was outsourced?

Contractually nothing moves: we still cannot approach them, and the work is still yours to present. In practice most agencies tell clients they have a development team, which is true. If you would rather we join technical calls as your developers, say so and we will; if you would rather we stay invisible, we do that instead.

What is the turnaround on a white-label build?

A straightforward business website runs three to five weeks from approved design; a Shopify build runs four to eight. You get the date at quoting, and we would rather quote a longer date and hit it than a short one and miss it. A single page due tomorrow is a rush job and is priced as one.

How does pricing work, and what margin does that leave?

Every job is fixed-quoted from the wholesale rate card on this page, before work starts. Set that against what agencies in your market typically charge for the same build and the margin works out in the 55–65% range. What you charge above the wholesale figure is entirely yours to decide.

Why choose this over an offshore web development company or a freelancer?

Mostly the terms. When you outsource web development to a job-by-job vendor you usually get a quote per project and their name in the footer. Here the wholesale rate is published so you can plan before you brief, the deliverables carry your logo, and the non-circumvention agreement comes before the client's name. Agencies that search 'white label web design' are usually looking for exactly that combination.

Send one brief. See how we work before your client does.

Non-circumvention signed first. A fixed quote inside two working days. Your name on everything the client sees.
