The Tech Genius is an Indian web design company and SEO agency, GST-registered since 2023. We build websites, win search visibility and ship software — for businesses across India and for clients and agency partners in the US, UK, Canada, the UAE and Australia. Being in India is why the same senior work costs a fraction of a Western agency’s rate — a different cost base, the same standard.
How this came about
The Tech Genius registered in 2023 as a digital marketing agency — websites, SEO, social — and it worked, until the website itself was lost and the whole thing needed rebuilding. This site is that rebuild.
The gap turned out to be well timed, because what one operator can deliver changed completely in between. Work that used to need a team of five and six months now runs as one person directing a fleet of AI agents — briefing them, reviewing every output, and shipping the result. One operator and a fleet of agents is the whole company, by design, and it is why you get a fixed price on a first call and an answer the same day.
So rather than the same agency again, the rebuild is around what an AI agency and a custom software development company can now actually deliver for you: the marketing, and the software underneath it.
We prove it on our own businesses before anyone else’s. Our founder owns and runs four of them, and every product we sell was built for one of them first:
- Attardaan India — a perfume and attar brand selling direct to consumers, on a store we built: custom Shopify theme, a repeatable product imagery pipeline, cash on delivery with OTP verification, and WhatsApp as the main customer channel.
- Tech Depot India — our electronics business. Components and devices sold from a catalogue built around real specification data, because a buyer who filters on a spec and gets the wrong part sends it back.
- Hotel Mahamaya — a working hotel, running on a property management system we wrote. Rooms, rates, bookings, WhatsApp enquiries and automated review responses, used at the front desk every day.
- Lake Nectar — 27 acres built around a five-acre lake, trading as a destination wedding venue while the wider development takes shape. We own it, we market it, and it runs on the same hospitality systems we sell.
Any claim here to understand a checkout, a specification catalogue, a booking flow or a long-cycle enquiry rests on operating one. Two of the four are open on the internet right now, and both are linked from our work page — open them and judge the work directly, which is rare for an agency portfolio.
Who actually does the work
One operator, directing AI agents. The person who quotes your project is the person who builds it and the person who replies when you message about it — so your decisions happen in one place, at the speed of one conversation.
That also makes accountability unambiguous. You are already talking to the top of the chain, so every answer you get is first-hand and every decision is final when you hear it.
The fair question to put to a setup like this is what happens if that person is unavailable, and it deserves a concrete answer rather than reassurance. Your project is built on standard, widely-known technology — Next.js, React, Shopify, Postgres. Code is documented and commented. Repositories, hosting, domains and analytics are registered to you from day one. Any competent developer could pick your project up tomorrow, and you can hand it to one without a word to us.
