White-label SEO — questions agencies ask
Is the reporting genuinely white-labelled?
Yes. The monthly report is built on your template with your logo, written in the first person as your agency, and sent to you rather than to the client. If you prefer a live view, we set up a Looker Studio or Google Sheets dashboard inside your workspace. The Tech Genius name appears nowhere unless you ask for it.
Who owns the client relationship?
You do, in writing. The non-circumvention agreement is signed before we learn the client's name and it holds during the engagement and after it. There is a commercial reason to trust it as well: agency work is repeat revenue from someone who already trusts us, and one poached client would end that permanently.
What happens if the client finds out you exist?
Nothing changes contractually — the client is still yours and we still cannot approach them. Some agencies introduce us openly as their technical team and put us on the calls; others keep us invisible. Tell us which at the start and we hold to it, including which name the Search Console and tool accounts are opened under.
How quickly can a new client start, and how fast do results come?
The fixed quote comes back within two working days of the brief, and delivery runs monthly on the schedule agreed at quoting. The first month is weighted towards the technical audit and the keyword map, so every report that follows measures against a baseline. Search takes months rather than weeks, and we say that to you plainly so you can say it to your client.
How does the pricing work, and what margin is left?
The wholesale retainer is published on this page and does not change with what you charge. Work it against typical agency retainer pricing in your market and the arithmetic lands in the 55–65% range, usually more on a retainer than on a one-off build, because the wholesale rate stays flat while your client's monthly fee does not. What you bill above it is your business alone.
Can we use you as a white label digital marketing agency, beyond search?
