Dealerline

Your storefront and your dealer, on one order rail

Selling stock held by someone else is an accounting problem disguised as a logistics problem. Dealerline installs into your storefront, connects it to your dealer's catalogue, routes each order to whoever has to pick it, and keeps the money straight afterwards — dealer cost, your margin, and what each side is owed.

In one paragraph

Dealerline is a Shopify app from The Tech Genius that connects a storefront to the dealer holding the stock: catalogue ingestion, stock and price sync, order routing, settlement billing and WhatsApp automation on one order rail. It is the system underneath our own fifty-fifty ecommerce partnerships, where we act as the dropshipping partner on the technology and demand side while the partner holds the inventory, and it is quoted by catalogue size and dealer count.

How it’s delivered

Delivered as an app that installs into your Shopify storefront and connects to your dealer's catalogue, stock and pricing. It is the system underneath our own fifty-fifty ecommerce partnerships, and it is configured to your category, your dealer and your split rather than handed to you as a fixed product.

The spreadsheet in the middle is the whole business risk

In most dropshipping setups the storefront and the dealer are joined by a person: someone forwards the order, someone checks whether it is actually in stock, someone works out the margin at the end of the month. That person is the single point of failure. Oversells, stale prices, orders sitting unforwarded overnight and a settlement both sides argue over all come from the same gap — the two systems only meet through that person.

The system

Eight modules. One set of data. Nothing typed twice.

The alternative is half a dozen tools, each holding its own copy of your numbers, and a person in the middle retyping them. This is that job, as one system.

  • Distribution

    Storefront app and product listings

Installs into your Shopify store as an app rather than sitting beside it in another browser tab. Listings, variants, media and pricing rules live where your team already works, so nobody has to learn a second admin panel to run the shop.

  • Core

    Dealer catalogue ingestion

Your dealer's SKUs, specifications, dealer price and available stock, mapped onto your listings. A dealer feed is almost always a different shape from what a storefront wants — that mapping is the work, and it is the reason most of these setups end up being maintained by hand.

  • Core

    Stock and price synchronisation

Dealer stock and dealer cost update your storefront on a schedule, with your own margin rules applied on top. Selling something the dealer ran out of last week is the fastest way to lose a customer permanently, and it is entirely a sync problem.

  • Core

    Order routing and fulfilment handover

Every order reaches the dealer with the picking and address detail they need, and comes back with a tracking number that lands on the customer's order. The dealer works from orders, with nothing new to learn.

  • Revenue

    Billing, margin and settlement

Sale price, dealer cost, shipping, returns and the resulting margin held per order — then rolled into a statement each side can check line by line. This is the part people build last and regret, because a partnership argues about money long before it argues about logistics.

  • Marketing

    Search visibility for the catalogue

Product and collection pages structured to rank, product schema, clean URLs and sane pagination. A dropshipped catalogue competes with everyone else selling the same SKUs, so the listing that is actually readable in search is the one that sells.

  • Guest

Enquiries and order updates over WhatsApp

Pre-sales questions, order confirmations, dispatch updates and abandoned-cart recovery running on Relaywave's official Business API connection. In a catalogue business most of the questions arrive before the order, not after it.

  • Core

    Analytics across the catalogue

Margin by SKU, by category and by dealer, alongside traffic, conversion and return rate — because every module writes to the same store. It answers the question that actually decides the business: which lines are worth carrying.

What it does

  • It installs into the store itself

Built in the Shopify app model by the same Shopify developer team that runs our own stores, so it runs inside the admin your team already uses. Every operations tool that lives in a separate tab eventually stops being opened.

  • The dealer gets orders, and only orders

Your dealer receives what they need to pick and ship, and keeps their own tools and workflow — which is exactly why this integration holds where most supplier integrations quietly fail.

  • The money is tracked per order

Dealer cost, sale price, shipping and returns are held against each individual order, so margin and settlement are a query rather than a month-end reconstruction from two sets of records.

  • Built on a catalogue that has to be exact

The catalogue machinery underneath this runs Tech Depot India, our own electronics business, where a buyer filters on specification and a wrong figure is a returned order. Specification data has to survive that.

  • The demand side is already attached

Catalogue SEO, social output, WhatsApp follow-up and cart recovery come from the same ecommerce website development stack that runs our own stores. A storefront full of someone else's SKUs needs traffic more than it needs features.

  • Or we run the whole thing with you, fifty-fifty

You put your money into inventory; we put ours into the technology and the demand, and the profit splits down the middle, which makes us your dropshipping partner on the technology side rather than a vendor sending invoices. That partnership runs on this system — see the work page for exactly which half is whose.

Who it’s for

  • Dealers and distributors with stock but no digital storefront
  • Stores forwarding orders to a supplier by email and spreadsheet
  • Brands selling a supplier's catalogue alongside their own lines
  • Anyone running our fifty-fifty ecommerce partnership
How is this different from Storeline?

Which side of the warehouse you are on. Storeline is the growth system for a brand selling its own stock — storefront, SEO, content, sales automation. Dealerline is the rail between a storefront and a dealer who holds the stock for it: catalogue ingestion, stock and price sync, order routing and settlement billing. If the inventory is yours, you want Storeline. If the inventory belongs to someone you have an arrangement with, you want this. Brands that do both run them together, and the marketing modules are shared rather than billed twice.

Why is the price quoted rather than published?

Because it depends on scale, and every figure on this site is a real one. Catalogue size, how many dealers you connect, order volume and how much of the marketing you want us to run are genuinely different jobs. Tell us the shape of it and we will quote you — and every individual service inside it has a published starting price on our pricing page, so you can sanity-check the total before you ever speak to us.

Does our dealer have to install anything?

Nothing on their side. The app installs on your storefront. Your dealer's side is a catalogue feed in whatever format they already produce, and orders arriving with the detail they need to pick and ship. We do the mapping between the two, because that mapping is the actual work and it is ours to do rather than a condition you hand your supplier.

Can you run the commercial side too, rather than just the software?

Yes, and that is the fifty-fifty partnership: we become your ecommerce business partner rather than your vendor. You buy and hold the inventory, warehouse it, hand each order to the shipping company and make the call on what is worth stocking. We build and run the storefront, the catalogue, the SEO, the marketing, the WhatsApp automation, the order management and the analytics. Profit splits down the middle, so we carry the same risk you do. The work page sets out both halves in full.
