White-label for agencies, by market
White-label SEO and web development for Canadian agencies, paid in Canadian dollars
Canadian agencies tend to be small and capacity-constrained, which is precisely the gap white-label delivery fills. The client stays with you — the calls, the reporting, the invoice, the brand — and the building happens in India at a wholesale rate you can read on this page before you call. The first question Canadian agencies ask is whether their finance team can pay a Canadian account; the answer is yes, and the rest of the paperwork is just as ordinary.
In one paragraph
The Tech Genius is a white label seo and white label web development partner for Canadian agencies: the agency keeps its client, its calls and its invoice, and we deliver under the agency's brand at a published wholesale rate. Invoices are in Canadian dollars as a zero-rated export of services, paid to Canadian dollar account details held with a licensed provider; as a non-resident supplier we do not charge GST/HST and the B2B reverse charge applies. Our evening covers a Canadian morning across Eastern and Pacific time, and anything we build that sends messages follows CASL.
Who this is for
- Toronto and Vancouver agencies in a dense market, where clients expect a local account manager but budgets will not carry a local developer
- A web design agency in Calgary, Montreal, Ottawa or Edmonton that would rather keep the client than turn down the build
- An SEO agency that wants the technical, content and link work done under its own reports without a second technical hire
- A social media marketing agency whose clients have started asking for websites, Shopify stores and WhatsApp automation
- One-person consultancies that sell strategy and need a delivery team that never appears on the client's radar
Payment, tax and timezone mechanics for this market are on our Canada page.
What your agency gets
What is included, and what you resell it as
| Included | Detail |
|---|---|
| SEO reseller delivery | The seo reseller row of the rate card: technical, content, links and generative engine optimisation for Canadian search, bilingual where the client needs it, reported monthly under your logo. |
| Builds and stores | Next.js sites and Shopify stores on a staging link you forward as your own; unbranded handover with documentation in your voice. English and French builds, with Quebec's language and privacy requirements handled deliberately. |
| Contract | Your agency's paper if it is reasonable, or our MSA and statement of work. IP passes to your client on final payment; NDA and non-circumvention come first. |
| GST/HST and invoicing | CAD invoices, a zero-rated export of services. As a non-resident supplier we do not charge GST/HST; for a B2B purchase the reverse-charge mechanism applies on your side, and your accountant will recognise the treatment. |
| Payment | Canadian dollar account details held through a licensed cross-border payment provider — a real local collection account, so your accounts team makes an ordinary domestic transfer, not an international wire. |
| Overlap | Our evening covers your morning across ET and PT. Work briefed at the end of your day is done during ours and waiting when you start. |
| Data protection and CASL | Your client's personal information falls under PIPEDA federally, and Quebec has its own requirements; we sign a DPA as your processor to the terms in your contract and name our sub-processors. Any outreach or WhatsApp automation we build follows CASL — express consent only, no cold blasting. |
| Your client, your invoice | You invoice the client in your name at your rate. We invoice you at wholesale. Our name appears nowhere unless you want it to. |
The margin, worked out
Wholesale rates, against what agencies typically charge
Our price is what you pay us. The resale column is observed agency pricing in the US, UK and Australia, not a promise about your market — the margin is arithmetic on published numbers.
| Service | Our wholesale price | In USD | Typical agency resale |
|---|---|---|---|
| Business website | ₹55,000 – ₹1,80,000 | $580 – $1,900 | $2,500 – $6,000 |
| Shopify / ecommerce build | ₹1,10,000 – ₹3,50,000 | $1,150 – $3,700 | $4,000 – $12,000 |
| SEO retainer (per month) | ₹28,000 – ₹95,000 | $290 – $1,000 | $1,500 – $4,000/mo |
| Custom software / AI build | ₹2,80,000+ | $2,950+ | $12,000+ |
| WhatsApp automation setup | ₹25,000 – ₹80,000 | $260 – $840 | $1,200 – $3,500 |
Rupee figures are the contract; the USD column is converted at the rate checked in August 2026. Full card on the white-label page.
How it works
From first brief to your invoice
Step 1
NDA and non-circumvention
Signed before the client is identified, on your paper or ours.
Step 2
The brief and a fixed quote
Scope, brand, platform and deadline in; a fixed price in Canadian dollars and a delivery date out, usually within two working days.
Step 3
Vendor onboarding
You get our CAD account details and Indian GST registration; we take your business number for the invoice so the reverse-charge treatment is clean.
Step 4
Weekly builds, overnight for you
A staging link and a written update each week. Feedback left at the end of your day is acted on during ours.
Step 5
Handover, then your invoice
Delivered in your client's name, documented in your voice, with an optional support retainer afterwards.
Why agencies can trust it
What you can check before you send a client name
A published wholesale rate card
Rupee figures and their dollar equivalents are on this page, so a Canadian agency can price a job before booking a call.
A real Canadian dollar collection account
Not a workaround: Canadian dollar account details held with a licensed provider, so the payment clears an accounts department's domestic-payment rule.
No Canadian entity, and we say so
We do not currently have a Canadian entity and will not pretend to. For nearly all agency engagements it makes no practical difference; if your procurement needs a Canadian vendor of record, tell us early and we will be straight about it.
Registered in India, prices public
The Tech Genius is a GST-registered Indian company whose registration and price list are published on this site.
White-label for Canadian agencies — questions agencies ask
Which contract governs — Canadian law or Indian?
We will sign a reasonable Canadian agency MSA, and most agencies prefer their own paper under their province's law. If you prefer ours, we supply an MSA and a statement of work instead. In either case IP is assigned to your client on final payment, and the NDA and non-circumvention are executed before the client is named.
Do you charge GST or HST, and can we pay a Canadian account?
No GST/HST: as a non-resident supplier providing services from India, our invoices are a zero-rated export, and for B2B purchases the reverse-charge mechanism applies on your side. Yes to the account: we hold Canadian dollar account details with a licensed provider, so your finance team makes a normal domestic transfer. If your policy requires a Canadian entity specifically, tell us early and we will say plainly whether we can meet it.
How does the timezone work?
Our evening covers your morning across Eastern and Pacific time. Work briefed at the end of your day is done during ours and waiting when you start, and calls are booked into that morning window. For a project that needs real-time collaboration all day, we are the wrong fit and would say so.
How do you handle PIPEDA and CASL?
Personal information your client collects sits under PIPEDA, with Quebec's own privacy and language requirements added where they apply; we act as your processor under a written DPA to your contract's data terms, and name our sub-processors. CASL is among the strictest anti-spam laws anywhere, with real penalties, so any outreach or WhatsApp automation we build has consent handling designed in from the start — your liability as much as ours.
Who owns the client account?
Your agency, in a non-circumvention agreement signed before we know who they are. The signature is backed by arithmetic: an agency that briefs us repeatedly is worth more than any client we could take, and taking one would end every other.
What do Canadian agencies charge, and what do they pay us?
Our own direct-client price list for Canada — what your client would pay coming to us direct, and so a floor for your quote — puts most business websites at C$3,500 to C$6,500 against a Canadian market that typically runs C$4,000 to C$10,000, Shopify builds at C$4,500 to C$9,000, and SEO retainers at C$900 to C$3,000 a month against a market of C$1,000 to C$4,500. Wholesale is the rupee rate card above; a build typically leaves you 55–65% and a retainer usually more, because our rate stays flat while your client's fee does not.
Send one brief. See how we work before your client does.
Non-circumvention signed first. A fixed quote inside two working days. Your name on everything the client sees.
